Ever since I opened my eyes this place has always stood firm on its ground. The mountains, the lake , the air , the water and everything else. This is the place that has always calmed my thirst for exploring the hidden places and the depths of mystery of that majestic jungle that hears out all that your heart has to say.

Nainital is a hill station in the state of Uttarakhand, India ,situated at the foothills of Himalayas. If you have craving for a calm and peaceful environment then Nainital is the place you must visit. From its unique Tibetan markets to its cliffs overlooking the pea shaped lake. This beautiful lake city has it all.

The town has a very warm welcoming aura that surrounds it. Be it the native  people that occupy the land or the gush of fresh air that fills your lungs as soon as you step on to its ground. The market place is colorful and vibrant. The Kumaouni culture can be seen all around and what acts as a cherry on the cake is the dialect of the people that sounds like music of the mountains.

For those whose body asks for treks that they can wander at this is the place for them. The long jungle treks. The trees covering the trail on both sides as one walks  under the shade of the Autumn trees. The feel of trodden and less trodden leaves, the roads taken and the roads that are present for your avail. Nainital has it all to offer!

After a long tiring day don’t you wish  to take long deep breaths and let out your exhaustion, relax your eyes by looking at that beautiful sun set. Here the sky turns a lighter shade of blue then it reaches a shade of orange then pink and finally the cover of black night sky engulfs the hues of dusk. Here you get to feel it all. You get to listen to your inner voice and be your own true self. Away from the rush of the crowed and away from the honks and horns of the city. You can’t help but fall in love with this place !
